We’d like to invite you to the conference (7/21-23). It’s a big social event attended by WYHK and WYK alumni from the past 60+ years. We expect over 100 of them will come. You can find some preliminary information at this website. The conference this year is co-hosted by the Ricci Institute for Chinese-Western Cultural History at the University of San Francisco. There will be scholars showing us the work at the Ricci Institute. It includes the collection of the late Fr. Albert Chan, SJ (1915-2005), from the Ming Dynasty. Fr. Chan was an alum of WYHK. Our conference theme is “Setting the world on fire: service as the fuel of Wahyanites’ life journey”. The keynote speaker is the COO of the Global Social Benefit Institute (GSBI) programs of the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at the Santa Clara University. So both Jesuit Universities in the San Francisco Bay Area will participate in our conference. It will be a memorable event.
